BARNETT, ALAN WAYNE
Alan Wayne Barnett, born July 12, 1962 in Birmingham, Alabama, passed away on September 26, 2013 from injuries suffered in a June 2013 automobile accident.
Alan graduated from Pelham High School and attended Birmingham Southern and UAB.
After serving in the United States Air Force Alan located in Atlanta, Georgia.
Alan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ernest F. Nichols, Oma P. Nichols, Lewis F. Barnett, Nettie D. Barnett all of Birmingham.
He is survived by his mother, Betsy Cooper and step father Joe Cooper; Aunts: Sandra Wilson (Bob), Gail Drake, (Joe); step brother Chris Cooper (Rita), step sister Kelly Pope (John); many cousins, nieces and nephews and father Walter Barnett.
Services were held on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at Valhalla Chapel with burial in Valhalla Cemetery.
