departed this life Tuesday, June 13, 2006. His beloved wife, Minna Jean Smith Toxey, of 60 years preceded him in death. He had a heart full of love for his family and his greatest joy was for all to be gathered at the family home. He reminded us often of how good God had been in giving him a large family. We were his pride and joy: his children Angelia (Buster) Carlton, Eugene (Linda) Toxey, Norma (Tommy) Blackstock, Randall (Peggy) Toxey, and David (Donna) Toxey; grandchildren: Amy Franks, Laura Lee, and Zach Carlton, Mitchelle, Gene and Derek Toxey, Melissa Burt, Wendy Carroll, Jason and Jonathan Blackstock, Joe, Joshua, Daniel, and Christina Toxey and Elisa Toxey, Brian Latham, and Barbara Parker. Great grandchildren: Addison, Anslee, Alexandra Franks, Christopher, Lauren, and Elizabeth Toxey, Kelsey and Kinsley Burt, Shana Carroll, Christian and Brianna Blackstock, Shiann and Makayla Toxey, David Latham, Jennifer, Jessica and Jacob Parker. He was preceded in death by his mother and father Ida Maebell and Omar Murry Toxey, and his brother Omar Owen Toxey. He is survived by his sisters, Pauline Hartley, Imogene Vaughn, Martha Stott and Joyce Champion and his brothers Bradford Toxey and Roy Toxey. Loved ones are welcome to share their love, condolences, and memories Wed., June 14, from 5:00 pm till 8:00 pm at Valhalla Funeral Home. On Thursday at 3:00 pm there will be a celebration of his home going and a memorial of his life. Burial following at Valhalla Cemetery.
