Alice Yvonne Jernigan Graham died on Monday, December 25, 2023 at the age of 76. She was born on September 8, 1947. Alice was a resident of Hueytown, Alabama and had previously lived in the Pelham and Helena areas of Shelby County for 32 years. Alice was a 1964 graduate of Hueytown High School at the age of 16.  She spent many years working for Ernst & Young, EBSCO Industries and AmSouth Bank. She married Bob Graham on January 14, 1972.
Alice was predeceased by her husband Robert (Bob) H. Graham, her daughter Jennifer Lynn Graham; her parents Allen A. Jernigan and Allie Opal Jernigan Antinoro; two brothers Dennis L. Jernigan and Alva A. Jernigan; and two sisters Audrey G. Matney and Florence Dale Hoops.

She is survived by her son Jeffrey L. Graham (Amy); three grandchildren Jake Graham, Ben Graham, and Maddie Graham; one brother David W. Jernigan; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Special thanks to friends Larry and Pam Evans for their friendship and generosity over the last forty-eight years. They have truly shown us the meaning of genuine friendship.

Funeral service will be Thursday, December 28, 2023 at 1 pm at Valhalla Funeral Home, 5317 Bessemer Super Highway, Bessemer, Alabama 35022. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service.

Per Alice's request, she will be cremated. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Hueytown Public Library.
