Andrew Colston Galloway, Sr., age 91 of Helena, formerly of Bessemer died Thursday, October 27, 2016 in Helena.

Mr. Galloway was a native and life long resident of Jefferson County where he lived most of his life in Bessemer. He resided in Helena the past two years with his son, Andy. Mr. Galloway was a retired Sergeant with the United States Air Force and was a veteran of World War II. He formerly attended Chalkville Baptist Church and was a member of First Baptist Church of Helena. He retired as a Chemist from Alpha Portland and also as a security guard at Princeton Hospital. Mr. Galloway was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Betty Jo Galloway; a son, Frank T. Galloway, and a daughter, Theresa Durden.

Mr. Galloway is survived by two sons, Andrew Colston Galloway, Jr. (Bebe) and James A. Galloway (Cindy); seven grandchildren, Noah Galloway, Sara Stiendenger (Warren), Jennifer Summerlin (Scott), Katherine Davison (Frank), Brandi Harris (Corey), Chad Galloway and Tony Galloway (Maggie) ; nine great grandchildren, Alex, Abby, Colston, Jack, Ryan, Kelso, Jake, Sadie Kate, and Autumn.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, October 31, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Valhalla Cemetery with the Rev. Greg Walker officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A. M prior to the graveside service at the funeral home.
