Anna Faye Wilson
Anna Faye [Allen] Wilson, age 82 of Shannon, went home to Heaven on Saturday, January 23, 2016, to join Gene, her husband of 53 years, and her beloved son, Michael. She is also proceeded in death by her parents Curtis and Annie Laura Allen; her sister and brother-in-law Mary Lee & Charlie Costa; and sisters-in-law Nena and Helen (Duckie) Allen.
She is survived by her Brothers: W.C., Emmett, and Charlie Allen (Sandra). She was a lifelong resident of the Shannon community and a very dedicated member of the First Baptist Church of Shannon. Anna Faye, or "Puddin," as she was known by her family, was considered the matriarch of the Allen family, and her greatest joy was found in her love for her God, her church, and her family. Her legacy is left in the lives of her nieces and nephews Bill (Samantha), Mike (Janae), Jimmy (Selena), Greg (Wendy), and Michelle Allen; Denise (Robby) Tibbs, Cindy (Greg) Sanders, Sonya (Blaine) Mink; Her great nieces and nephews: Leila, Rob (Nancy), Josh (Lauren), Nikki, Drew, Chad (Jodi), Jordan, Allen (Erin), Jake (Meagan), David, Rob, Russ (Karry), Brett (Kasey), Ryne (BreAnn), Jack, Kenna, Miali, Josie, Scotti, Hannah, Karsen, Holden, Brogan, Raelin, Tyler, and Lexi; Her great-great nieces and nephews: Crews, Samantha, Emmett, Grayson, Connor, and KyleeAnn. All of whom became her children, and she took great pleasure in caring for - and spoiling them.
Anna Faye retired from USF&G. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a very special lady and will be missed by all. Proverbs 31:10 - Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 25, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev.''s Tommy Hannah and Don Maddox officiating. Burial will follow in Valhalla Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Valhalla Funeral Home.
