Mitchell, Audrey B., age 89, of Fairfield Highlands, Alabama, went home to be with her Lord, Saturday, May 8, 2010. Mrs. Mitchell was a member of Fairfield Highlands Baptist Church, where she taught in Vacation Bible School for 60 years and in the kindergarten department for 20 years.She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Joe Mitchell. She is survived by her son, Richard (Kathy) Mitchell; daughters, Sylvia McCary and Marilyn Lee; eleven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. Funeral Services will be held at Fairfield Highlands Baptist Church, Monday, May 10, 2010 at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends, prior to the service at the church, from 12:00 until 2:00 pm. Rev. Ed Cruce will be officiating.
