Josephine (Jo) was married to Robert (Bob) Lewis Patton for 32 years before Bob died and together they had three children: Shirley Ann, Sharon and Robert Lewis Patton, Jr. Several years after Bob died, Jo married James W. Nolen. Jo and James were married for 10 years before James died. Jo is survived by two of her three children, Shirley and Sharon. Shirley married Charles E. Westbrook, Jr. in 1968 and have four of Jo''s grandchildren: Samantha White (Dean), Tiffany Cobb (Jeff), Charles E. Westbrook, III (Michelle), Deborah Westbrook (Michael), who collectively have nine of Jo''s great grandchildren, Zoe Cobb, Elijah Cobb, Christopher Callaway, Bailey Westbrook, Brielly Westbrook, Briston Westbrook, Annie Turner, Lillian Turner, and Charlie Turner. Sharon married James Scott Rogers in 1971, and they two children: Jennifer Breland (Bryan) and Will Rogers. Jennifer and Bryan''s children are Jack Breland and Sam Breland. Jo''s third child Robert married Janet Hardin in 1971 and they have two boys, Robert (Tripp) Lewis Patton, III, and Heath Patton, Tripp''s children are Colby and Destiny. Heath and his wife Jennifer have a son, Gavin Patton.

Jo Patton was a member of North Highlands Baptist Church since 1958. She, Shirley and Sharon were baptized there at the same time in April 1958.

The services will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. Visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m. A graveside burial will follow. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to North Highlands Baptist Church, Hueytown, Alabama.
