Authelia Bilbrey Howard, age 92, of Odenville,AL died Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at her residence.

Mrs. Howard was a native and life long resident of Jefferson County where she was a retired cleak at Social Security. She was a former member of Wilke's Baptist Church and a member of Pleasant Site Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Jack "Wigg" Howard; one son, William Ricky Howard, and his parents, Mr.and Mrs. J.C. Bilbrey.

She is survived by one son, Rev. Gary Howard (Wanda); three grandchildren, Tammy Scroggins (Buddy), Dawn Conn (Chris), and Ricky Howard.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, August 26, 2013 at 12 noon at Valhalla Cemetery with the Rev. Gary Howard officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
