Davis, Bertha M. of Minor Heights, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 28, 2014. She has been a member of Westmont Baptist Church for over fifty years. She will always be remembered by family as vibrant and full of life. Through the years she enjoyed sharing her love of music and dance with children and grandchildren.

Bertha is preceded in death by her husband William A. Davis, and is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Bobbie Jo Davis of Minor Heights; her son and daughter-in-law, William A. Davis, Jr. and Brenda Gray Davis of Hoover; her son and daughter-in-law, Asa and Brenda Davis of Tuscaloosa County; daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Mike Kallaher of Chelsea; eleven grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2014, from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 A.M. at Valhalla Chapel. Burial will be in Valhalla Cemetery. Funeral Services will be performed by Pastor Nathan Daniels of Westmont Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be grandsons Greg Davis, Wade Kallaher, Dal Davis, Alan Davis, Steven Kallaher, and Trey David.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer''s Association.
