Douglas, Bertha H. , age 86, of Wylam, AL, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2009. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Church of God. Funeral Services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home on Thursday, February 19, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. with graveside services in Valhalla Cemetery Friday, February 20, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Larry Craig officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 19, 2009 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert P. "Bobby" Douglas. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Mitchell Douglas; son, Mitchell "Skip" Douglas, Jr. (Billie); daughter-in-law, Sheila Douglas; grandchildren, Scot, Cory, Amanda and Jessica; eight great grandchildren.
