Murdoch, Beryl E., age 97, of Birmingham, AL, passed away on March 17, 2008. She was a former member of Vinesville Baptist Church for over 30 years and a member of Pineview Baptist Church for 10 years. She was retired from Marsh Bakery. Funeral Services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with burial in Valhalla Cemetery. Rev. Herbert Parker and Rev. Tim McElroy officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. She is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, John S. Murdoch. She is survived by one son, Billy H. Murdoch (Bobbie); one daughter, Shirley M. Benefield (Bud); eight grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; special grandchildren, Mary and Devin Hind and their three children; one nephew, Don Jones (Quita).
