age 82, of Bessemer, went home to be with her Lord on August 6, 2007 and she will be greatly missed. She was a member of First Alliance Church of Bessemer. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. Funeral Services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at 10 a.m. with burial in Valhalla Cemetery. Rev. Jody Burgin Jr. officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 2007 from 5:30 until 8 p.m. She is survived by two daughters, Jeanette Carter and Jeanine (Dennis) Killian; son, Jody (Paula) Burgin; grandchildren, Jerrie Lynn (Terry) DeFoor, Jeff (Michelle) Carter, Misty and Joseph Killian and Brad (Erika) Killian, Josh, Ben and Shea Burgin; great grandchildren, Shawn DeFoor (Kori), Shane (Brittany) DeFoor, Tyler, Tanner and Anna Carter and Kylie Killian; great great granddaughter, Lexie DeFoor; two brothers, Garland (Ann) Williams and Norman (Bobbie) Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving family members. She will be missed by her special little pet Dusty. The family would like to express a special thanks to the Family Comfort Hospice and to all of her sitters and friends. .
