It is with great sadness that the family of Betty Fox Carroll of Bessemer announces her passing after her long battle with cancer. She died on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at the age of 80 at her residence.

Betty will be remembered always by her daughter, Susan Carroll and son Todd Carroll; three grandchildren, Katy and Kody Smitherman and Shelby Carroll. She was preceded in death by her husband, William B. Carroll of Bessemer.

Betty was former owner of Tamale and Taco Hut in Bessemer for many years. She was a member of the Eastern Star and was a member of the Baptist faith.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Valhalla Cemetery with Mike Farrell officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Valhalla Funeral Home.
