Betty Marie Lewis, age 88 of Midfield, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2016 at her residence.

Ms. Lewis was a native and life long resident of Jefferson County and was a member of Harmony Baptist Church of Pleasant Grove. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin A. Lewis and brothers and sisters.

She is survived by one son, Bruce E. Lewis; three daughters, Janis Arant (Sam), Debbie Lewis (Greg), and Joyce Mundi (widowed); eleven grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. and one hour prior to the service at Valhalla Funeral Home. Services will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Valhalla Chapel with the Rev. Terry Michael Davis officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Cemetery.
