Betty Joyce Beck, age 89 of Brierfield, AL died on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at Shelby Baptist Hospital in Alabaster.

Ms. Beck was a native of Jefferson County where she lived most of her life and a resident of Bibb County the past twenty-five years. She was a member of the Baptist Faith and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Beck and a daughter, Velera Griffith.

She is survived by a sister, Lois Walker; 2 nieces, Gena Laird and Debra Christopher (Ken); 3 nephews, Joseph Loggins (Claudia), William Loggins (Teresa), and Jerry Davis (Brenda); a son-in-law, Joseph Griffith; numerous great nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Valhalla Chapel with burial in Valhalla Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
