age 85, of Slocomb, AL, formerly of Bessemer, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2010. He was a member of Helena United Methodist Church. A volunteer in the Literacy Program at the Library in Clanton, AL. He was preceded in death by his son, William Crumpton. He is survived by his wife, Mary L. Crumpton; his sons, Reedy Crumpton of Houston, TX, Brian Crumpton of Columbiana, and Joel Crumpton of Birmingport; his daughters, Alana Stewart of Slocomb, AL and Teresa Willingham of Vincent, AL; twelve grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren; his sister, Rhonda Love of Helena. Graveside services at Valhalla Cemetery will be Thursday, June 17, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Reid Crotty officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 16, 2010 from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home, Midfield, AL.
