Billie Jane Edwards, age 87, of Hueytown passed away May 20, 2014. She was a long time member of Hueytown Baptist Church. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, a devoted Christian and a huge Alabama Football fan.

She is survived by two sons, Jesse (Jane) Edwards, Jr of Birmingham and William Terry (Karen) Edwards of Hueytown; a sister, Peggy Hyche; five grandchildren, Jennifer, Emily, Michael, Todd and Hendon; five great grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.

Services were held on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 A.M. with Brother Thomas Graves officiating. Burial was in Valhalla Cemetery. The family received friends one hour prior to the service at Valhalla Funeral Home.
