age 83, of Pleasant Grove, AL, passed away Thursday, April 1, 2010. He was a member of Pleasant Grove First Baptist Church. He was retired from U. S. Steel (Sheet Mill), a member of the Masonic Lodge in Pleasant Grove and a World War II U.S. Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Maude Salter Morrison. He is survived by his wife, Helen Morrison; brother, Buck Connell; sons, Tim (Diane) Parker and Billy (Liesa) Parker; daughter, Renee (Bill) Wheeler; grandchildren, Lori (Jeff) Simpson, Keri Ratliff, Rusty (Christina) Wheeler, Kelley (Michael) Syx and Mandy (Chad) Kilpatrick; great grandchildren, Kaleb, Kolin, Chasity, Lexi, Kaity, Hunter, Cloy and Davis. Funeral services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. with burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, April 5, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
