MCLENDON, Bobbie Hinson Sellers, went peacefully to be with our Lord and Savior on February 12, 2017. Our mother was born on January 20, 1918 at Hinson Crossroads in Vernon, Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents Foy and Frances Hinson, her husband of 48 years William (Mack) MCLENDON and five sisters

She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Shannon Sellers. Her beloved children, Edwin McLendon of Tallahassee, FL; Carole Savage (Francis) of Lakeland, FL; Tommy (Michelle) McLendon, Pelham; Diane Dill (Jimmy), Pelham; Terry McLendon (Nancy), Indian Springs; Janet Bradley (John), McCalla. She had Thirteen precious grandchildren, Angie, Sherri, Tammy, Chris, Jana, Brooke, Brian, Jacob, Jennifer, Jared, Joy, Keri & Dylan. She also had Seventeen beloved great grandchildren. Sisters, Audrey Binney, Katherine Smelley, brother, Carl Hinson. Her church family of 65 years from Fairfield Highlands Baptist Church.

Visitation will be at Valhalla Funeral Home on Friday, February 17, 2017 at 10:00 with funeral following at 11:00. Bro. Ed Cruce officiating.

"Her children and grandchildren were blessed by God to have had her as their Mother and Nanny. She was a prayer warrior for all she knew. She read through her Bible yearly and humbly lived it. Mother was a faithful servant for the Lord. She was a selfless child of God who was always doing for others. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her."
