Gilbert, Bonnie Jean Blake , Born November 5, 1944, went to be with her Lord on February 16, 2008. She was a loving and much loved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter and sister. Bonnie was talented and creative, a cosmetologist and designer of pagaent attire under the name of Ninnies Originals. She enjoyed traveling with the Pitty-Pat Club. Bonnie was a member of Hueytown Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother Sarah Nabors Blake. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, William L. Gilbert; daughter, Wendy G. Bryant; grand daughters, Courtney (Ricky) Smith, Carmen Smith and grandson, Michael Bryant; great grandson, Cory Lee Smith; father, Clay B. Blake Sr.; sisters, Margaret (Michael) Ard and Brenda (Roland) Kyle; brother, Clay B. (Roxanne) Blake Jr.; numerous neices, nephews, cousins and friends. Extended family, Terry and Esther Nail and Peggy Lacey. Funeral Services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with burial in Valhalla cemetery. Rev. Terry DeFoor officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10 until 11 a.m.
