Braxton Jamal Worthy was born on July 23, 1997, to Shannon Scott and Byron Worthy. He departed this life on April 12, 2023 in Columbus, Georgia.
Braxton confessed in hope in Christ at an early age and was baptized at Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of O. Wendell Davis, Huntsville, AL. He was educated in the Madison County School System and was a graduate of Sparkman High School Class of 2015.
Braxton was an amazing son, grandson, big brother, nephew and friend. He was one of the lights of his mother's eyes and was truly loved by all who knew him.
Braxton relocated to Columbus, GA and pursued his dream of becoming a Barber, he was employed by Bladez Barber Shop in Phoenix City, AL.
Braxton was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rev. Henry Hadley, Annie Delois Hearns, Charles Stallworth and James C. Johnson; great grandparents, L.H. and Mary Hadley, Granville Scott, Nettie Scott Fox, James and Nellrie Davis; uncles Joe, Benny, and Gregory Scott and Clarence Hadley.
Braxton leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Aryanna Epperson Worthy; parents, Shannon and Theron Stallworth; biological father, Byron Worthy; four sisters, Jaavon and Lauren Stallworth, Brittney Bolden and Tiechia Finklea; Grandparents, Vera (Allen) Williams, Mary Johnson, Saul and Patricia Worthy, Sr. and Ruth Hadley; God -Grandparents, Marion and Leland Calhoun; aunts, Sherita (Donald) Jones, Keedra (Derrick) Moore, Alicia (Michael) Crawford and Stacie Worthy-King; uncles, Allen Scott, Jerome Hadley, Forest Jackson, Saul Worthy, Jr. and Marcus Worthy, Antwan (Jennifer) Hadley and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins and other relative and friends.
