Calvin Coolidge Merrill, age 93 of Lipscomb passed away on February 9, 2018. He was employed at US Pipe in Bessemer, AL for 41 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lillie Merrill, four brothers and two sisters all of North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his wife of 72 years, Merle G. Merrill of Lipscomb in April 2017. He is survived by two sons, Harry (Edie) Merrill of Lineville and Douglas Merrill of Lipscomb; one daughter, Lila (Joel) Hughes of McCalla; four grandsons, Scott Merrill of Atlanta, GA, Steven (Karen) Merrill of Weaver, Eric and Adam Hughes of McCalla; three great granddaughters, Chasity, Stacy and Ainsley Merrill of Weaver, many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services are private.
