J. P. Barger of Lipscomb, AL passed away September 23, 2014. J. P. loved his family and hunting.

He is survived by a daughter, Leigh Ann Pagliarin; Leigh Ann''s mom, Lois Barger; one grandson, Anthony Pagliarin (Stephanie); a granddaughter, Ashley Pagliarin; one great granddaughter, Alana Pagliarin; three brothers, Greg Barger, Tim Barger, and Derrick Barger (Linda); Sisters, Carol McFerrin (Ellis), Denise Dennis (Mike); several nieces and nephews.

Services will be Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at 11 A.M. at Valhalla Chapel with Sister Carolyn Jones officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, September 29, 2014 from 5-7 P.M. at Valhalla Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be nephews.
