Our dear mother, Carol Ann Foster, sadly passed away on June 9, 2023 at the age of 66. Carol was a graduate of Thompson High School and retired from the Veterans Affairs Hospital. She also wore many hats at other jobs, but most importantly to her were her children.

She was a current resident of Shelby, Alabama for the past 26 years where she resided with her loving husband of 35 years, Johnny Foster.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lamar and Geraldine Smith; brother, Michael Lamar Smith; and grandson, Tony Renova.

She is survived by her husband, Johnny Foster; son, Jeffery Foster and his wife, Christy; daughter, Jamie Bachman and her husband, Jason; granddaughters, Amilia Rose and Cassie Wren Foster; and best friend of 40 years, Ann Venable.
