It is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of Carol Sue Payne, who left us on Wednesday
September 3rd to be with her heavenly father and a multitude of loved ones that went on before her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Rachel Parsons and her husband Gary W Payne.
She is survived by her sister Sandra Hill, her daughter Dalena Richardson and grandson Eric Richardson,
her son Mikehal Payne and grandsons Tyler Payne and Dustyn Payne, his wife Lindsey, and soon to be
great granddaughter Lainey Payne.
Carol was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church. She had a passion to serve the Lord and tell
others about Christ. She loved working with children. She touched so many lives throughout her years
with her home daycare, teaching Sunday school, and spreading the word of God. She will be missed by
so many, but we can find peace in the fact that as Christians, we will see her again.
Services will be held Wednesday September 10th 10:00AM visitation with the funeral service starting at
11:00AM at Valhalla Funeral Home located at 5317 Bessemer Super Hwy, Midfield AL. 35228
