Barnett, Carol Jean Roberts , was born September 12, 1936 and passed away June 18, 2008. She was a native of Birmingham Alabama but has spent the past 38 years of her life in Talladega Alabama. She was a graduate of West End High School from September 1942 to May 1954. She also graduated from the University of Montevallo in June 1958. She is survived by her husband J. Donald Barnett; daughter, Coral Renee' Bailes; granddaughters, Candice S. Estes and husband Kenny and Ashley M. Smith and husband Chris; great granddaughter, Ryleigh M. Smith. Funeral Services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home on Saturday, June 21, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be Friday, June 20, 2008 at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Craig Smith, Chris Smith, Kenny Estes, Tim Barnett, Al Stringfellow and Bobby Stringfellow.
