Hollinghead, Carolyn Petenbrink , age 64, of Hueytown, AL, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, March 5, 2009. She was a loving devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her and loved her. She was a licensed minister, was involved in prison ministry and worked at a local mission for several years. She was a member of Kingwood Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Velma Gipson; her brother, James E. Gipson and her children's father, Carl (Pete) Petenbrink. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Jimmy V. Hollinghead; twin children, Kenneth (Jenny) Petenbrink of Vance, AL and Michelle (Greg) Petenbrink Mullins of Alabaster, AL; twin grandsons, Landon and Lane Mullins; step sons, Michael Petenbrink of Maryland, Daniel (Beth) Petenbrink and their children, Brandon, Danny and Meghan of Maryland; sisters, Betty (Milford) Gentry of Birmingham, AL; Ernestine Bullion of Pleasant Grove, AL; brothers, Benjamin E. (Gail) Gipson of Madison, GA, Robert E. Gipson of Logan, AL, John E. (Linda) Gipson of Burns, TN, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral Services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home Monday, March 9, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with burial in Valhalla Cemetery. Rev. Ron Cox officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 8, 2009 from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel.
