It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Cassandra Hill, on April 3, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on July 5, 1961, in Birmingham, AL, she was the daughter of the late Mary Hill and Jessie Jones.Cassandra was a loving mother to T. Nevett, the late Xavier Hill, Donald Hill, and Emanuel Hill. Her family was her greatest joy, and she devoted her life to raising and supporting them with love and care. Cassandra was known for being a mother to the motherless, an aunt, a sister, a cousin, and a best friend to many. She had a genuine love for people and was always there to offer a helping hand, a kind word, or a shoulder to lean on. Whether you needed encouragement, someone to guide you through a tough time, or just someone to listen to your ups and downs, Cassandra was the one you could count on. Her warmth, kindness, and infectious sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Cassandra's generosity knew no bounds, and she was always ready to support her community. She had a heart of gold and an ability to make everyone feel seen and valued. Her home was a safe haven for many, where laughter and love filled every corner. Cassandra's nurturing spirit extended beyond her family; she was truly a pillar of strength for anyone who needed her.

She was a woman who believed in the power of family and friendship, and her presence made a lasting impact on everyone she encountered.
