Catherine Roxanne Bagby, aged 70, of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away on October 26, 2024. Born on December 3, 1953, Roxanne dedicated her life to caring for others, both as a nurse at St. Vincent's for 45 years and within her own family. Her compassionate care left a lasting impact on many.

Roxanne went to Fairfield High School and furthered her education at St. Vincent's Nursing Program. She married Terry Bagby September 5, 1975 and was the love of his life. Throughout her life, she cherished celebrating birthdays and holidays, always ensuring her family felt the love and joy of each occasion. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of her life, and she relished every moment spent with them.

Roxanne leaves behind a loving family, including her husband Terry Bagby, sons Larry (Denise) Bagby and David (Kaula) Bagby, her sister Cheryl (Louie) Sheffield, her grandchildren Jaymz, Kortni, Reagin, Felicia, Alex, Abbagail, Riley, and Isaiah, and great-grandchildren Barrett and Everlee, and multiple cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Zelphia Needham, and her brother David Needham.

Services to honor Roxanne's life will be held on Oct 30, 2024 at Valhalla Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1pm – 2pm, with a service following at 2pm.  Interment will be held at Valhalla Cemetery following the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the American Kidney Fund, causes close to Roxanne's heart.
