Boartfield, Jr., Charles "Charlie" , age 48, of Midfield, AL, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2009. Charlie was an employee of the Piggly Wiggly warehouse. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Star Trek Club. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Boartfield, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Melissa Boartfield; his daughter, Amanda (Steve) Zamora; his mother, Gloria Levet; his brother, William "Bill" (Darlene) Boartfield and his sister, Angela "Angel" (Jay) Beyer. Funeral Services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with burial in Valhalla Cemetery. Jerene Pugh officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 9, 2009 from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
