Charles Allen Heaton
July 23, 1938 – 10/02/2023

Preceded in death by his wife Pat, his parents Wesley and Beatrice,
his brothers Joe and Gerald, and his granddaughters Ashleigh and
Katey.
He is survived by his son Bill (Beth), his daughter April (John), his
granddaughters Erin (Derek) and Abbi (Grant), by his great
grandchildren Will and Linley, his brother Ronnie (Terri), and his
sisters-in-law Lynn and Kathy.
Charles worked for the Alabama Power Company for over 34 years
in positions including Lineman, Meter Reader, Lead Lineman,
Troubleman, and Customer Service Inspector.
In his last years, while living at Plantation Manor, he became a
much-requested singer/soloist by the staff and fellow residents. He
was also known and loved for his sense of humor - and forever
talking about, and yearning to be with, his wife (and love of his life)
