Charles Randolph Poe, age 68, of Attalla, AL died Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Coosa Valley Healthcare in Glencoe.

Mr. Poe was a native of Jefferson County where he lived most of his life. He had resided in Etowah County for the past ten years and was retired from Bruno's with forty years of service. He was a Christian.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Hughes Poe; his pet, "Little Charlie"; one brother, Michael Poe (Lorie); two sisters, Gail Wolfe (James) and Brenda Spata.

Services will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Valhalla Funeral Home chapel with Alvin Turner officiating. Burial will follow in Valhalla Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
