Cheryl Glosson Gentry of Birmingham passed peacefully surrounded by family on February 10, 2022, at the age of 77. She was preceded in death by C.A. Gentry Jr., her parents Mr. and Mrs. H.V. Glosson and her sister Betty Byrd. She is survived by her sister Gloria Calloway, three daughters: Chris (Wyatt) Dunn, Lisa (Mike) Harris, and Sherry (Kevin) Isbell, along with her grandchildren: Emilee (Kyle) Dotson, Lauren (David) Miller, Shelby Isbell (Brett McCartney) and Josh Harris.  Cheryl retired from T.J. Maxx after 20 years of service. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, playing cards and spending time with her family and friends. Service of remembrance, officiated by Bro. Bill Wilks of NorthPark Baptist Church, will be held graveside at Valhalla Funeral Home and Cemetery (5317 Bessemer Super Hwy, Midfield, AL 35228) on Wednesday, February 16 , 2022 at 11:00 AM.  For those who wish to remember Cheryl in a special way can send flowers to Valhalla funeral home, or in lieu of flowers can make a donation in her honor to your local animal rescue/shelter.
