Clara Lollar Hatch, age 74 of Hoover, Al died Monday, August 3, 2015 at her residence.

Mrs. Hatch was a native of Jefferson County where she lived most of her life. She was a member of Canaan Baptist Church of Bessemer, past member of Pioneer''s with Bell South and BPW of Bessemer, AL. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Dorothy Lynch, her parents, sister and brother.

She is survived by her husband, George Hurst; a daughter, Paula Silberberg; a granddaughter, Heather Lynch and two sisters, Betty Kines and Virginia Wilson.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 10, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Valhalla Chapel with the Rev.''s Morgan Bailey and Josh Kines officiating with burial in Valhalla Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association, 3918 Montclair Rd, Birmingham, AL 35209 or to a favorite charity.
