age 79, of Hoover, passed away on May 14, 2007. She was of the Baptist Faith. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and sister. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2007 from 5 until 8 p.m.at Valhall Funeral Home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Thomas, and two children; her son, Huey Smith and her daughter, JoAnn Diakogeorgiou.. She is survived by her two sons, Robert L. (Susan) Thomas of Hoover and Kenneth Thomas of Birmingham; her daughter, Brenda (Butch) Williams of Oakman AL; daughter-in-law, Christy Smith of Calera; 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; her brother, Huey Baker Jr. of Pleasant Grove and her twin sister, Lorene Adkins of Bessemer; several nieces and nephews..
