Rayford, Curtis G. , age 61, of Bessemer, AL, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2009. He was a "loving father, devoted son" and "the best brother anyone could have," said by Sonny. He served in the U. S. Army. Curtis is survived by his son, Matthew Rayford and his girlfriend Misty Woodard; his aunt, Ellen Edmondson; three nephews, numerous loving family members and friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 23, 2009 from 11:30 until 1:00 p.m. Graveside Services at Valhalla Cemetery will follow at 1:00 p.m.
