Daniel "Wayne" Draper, age 74, of Pinson, Alabama passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2014 in Pinson, AL.

Mr. Draper was a native of Shelby County but lived most of his life in Jefferson County. He was retired from Phenix Supply and was a member of the Trussville Church of Christ. Mr. Draper was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny Draper and Tina Loggins and step father, John Loggins.

Mr. Draper is survived by his wife, Patricia C. Draper; son, Brad Draper (Betsy Fox Draper); daughter, DeeDee Dunlap (Porter Dunlap); grandchildren, Laura D. Alexander (Brad Alexander), Emily D. Cence (Chris Cence), Brett Draper, Amanda Dunlap, and Amelia Dunlap; great grandchildren, Wells Alexander and John Fox Cence; sisters, Peggy Southern, Debra Merrell; brother, Tommy Loggins; and various nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at 12 noon at Valhalla Chapel with Aaron Beard officiating. Burial will follow in Valhalla Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Valhalla Chapel.
