On Sept 21,1953 in Birmingham Alabama, Alvin Jackson (Jack) Rigdon and Elsie Simmons Rigdon became the parents of a son named David Jackson Rigdon. David was a kind individual who had a heart as big as all outdoors. He was a great brother, even though we may have fought amongst ourselves, if an outsider came along they had to take on both of us. He was also a great friend who would give you the shirt off his back whether he knew you for all his life or met you yesterday. David is survived by his sister Donna Rigdon Kinard  of Hanceville Al, brother Daniel Rigdon of Pelham Al, half sister Dawn Rigdon Marolf of Madison Wisconsin and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He attended Green Acres Elementary, West End High School (1yr) and Jones Valley High School.  He went to work for ACIPCO (American Cast Iron Pipe) in 1975, where he retired from in 2012 with 37 years of service. He always enjoyed science fiction ( Capt James T Kirk was his hero) , he liked guns and target practice and had a big heart for dogs. David had numerous friends, acquantainces and family that will miss him greatly
