age 69, of Hueytown, passed away on March 4, 2007. Mr. Strickland was a backhoe operator doing construction his entire life. Funeral Services will be held at Lemley Chapel in Oneonta on Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. with burial in Oak Hill cemetery. Rev. Al Jerkins officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2007 from 5until 8 p.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home in Midfield. He is survived by his wife of 42 years Monte Hollis Strickland, three sons; David Todd Strickland (Angela), James Robert Strickland (Debra) and Michael Hollis Strickland, 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild, sister; Edna Daily.
