Obituary
Donna Cushman Kimbrel, age 70, of Hueytown, AL passed away on Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017 at her residence.
Mrs. Kimbrel was a native of Jefferson County where she lived her early life and returned in 2004. She traveled and lived in numerous states with her husband in his career. While living in Charlottesville, Virginia she served in administration with Mt. View Baptist Church and University of Virginia Baptist Church. She atteneded Hueytown Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Joyce Cushman.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Donald Kimbrel; a daughter, Dana McBrayer; a son, David Kimbrel (Kristi); four grandchildren; Hailey McBrayer, Gage McBrayer, Kyle Spencer and Sidney Tidwell; a brother, Mike Cushman; two sisters, June VanSlyke and Jackie Nolan (Jimmy); and life long friends Pat and Diane Pate.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, April 21, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Valhalla Cemetery with Troy Watts officiating. A private family viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at Valhalla Funeral Home.
