Dora Nesbitt Chaffin 78, of Hueytown, Alabama passed away on March 5, 2023. She was born in Fairfield, Alabama to Ed and Vanoni Nesbitt, She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Noni Odom and Eddye Lou Nesbitt. She is survived by husband John, Daughter Carol McKinney(Jeff), Son, John (Kim). Grandchildren,Jake McKinney and Ella Grace Chaffin. She atteneded Fairfield High School and Jacksonville State University. She worked as a claims processor for Aetna Insurance in Birmingham and Atlanta. She worked many years as a legal secretary. Dora enjoyed reading, sewing, arts and crafts and singing in the church choir at Hueytown Methodist Church. Dora's funeral service will be held on Friday March 10, 2023 at Valhalla Funeral Home in Midfield at 11A.M. with Visitation from 1030 until 11A.M. Burial services will be private.
