age 77, of Bessemer, passed away on Jan. 4, 2007. She was preceded in death by her loving mother Jessie Evelyn Smith. She is survived by: two sons Paul (Dean) Valdes and Daryl (Robin) Dewberry; five grandchildren Daniel (Melissa) Dewberry, Paul (Kelley) Valdes IV, Shane (Stacia) Valdes, Cheryl Dewberry, Jessy Dewberry; six great-grandchildren; one sister Betty Gartrell of Naples, FL; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be from 4:30 pm till 8:00 pm Sunday, Jan. 7, 2007 at the funeral home. The Chapel service will be Monday, Jan. 8, 2007, at 12:30 pm with burial at Valhalla Cemetery. Rev.
