Dorothy Mae Cornelius, age 94, formerly of Hillview, Al passed away May 4, 2019. She was born February 23, 1925 to Elderado and Delilah (Pennington) Tolbert.

She was a loving mother, sister, Nana, Mamaw, Grandma, Grammy and great grandma. A faithful member of Hillview Baptist Church. She loved going to the beach and camping.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Clyde Cornelius Sr, a son Clyde Cornelius Jr, a daughter Debra Cole, two brothers John Tolbert and Milton Tolbert and a sister Sara Burton.

She leaves to cherish her memories a son David (Diane) Cornelius, and son-in-law Ronnie Cole. Grandchildren: Katie Cornelius, Heather (Damien) Bonner, Cory Cornelius and Stacy Cole. Great grandchildren Kloe Burton, Drake Bonner and Reed Bonner.
One brother E.R. Tolbert,  one sister Emma Jean (Bill) Wade and one sister-in-law Norma Tolbert and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held May 8, 2019 from 11:00 to 1:00 at Valhalla Funeral Home with graveside service to follow at 1:00 at Valhalla Cemetery.
