Dunnie, Dorothy Hogan

Dorothy Hogan Dunnie, age 90, of Pleasant Grove passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 in Hueytown, AL.

Mrs. Dunnie was a native and life long resident of Jefferson County where she was a member of the Pleasant Grove Church of Christ. She was a former volunteer for UAB Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Dunnie and her grandson, John Hester.

She is survived by two daughters, Judy Haggerty (Tom), and Susan Hester (Philip); three grandchildren, Joseph Andrew Hester (Pristine), Amy Haggerty, and Ellen Ellis (Jared); granddaughter-in-law, Leanne Hester and seven great grandchildren.

Services will be Friday, November 15, 2013 at 11:30 A.M. at Valhalla Chapel with Dwight Edwards and Charlie Carter officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
