Dorothy Sue Henderson-Vestavia Hills, Alabama born June 11, 1922 passed peacefully on Saturday, February 9, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Henderson, Jr. and her son, William H. Henderson, III. Survivors include her daughter Jan Bittner (Dave); her son, Ronnie Henderson (Sara); grandchildren, Melissa Langston (Jaret), Lance Farris (Deanne), Zac Henderson; great grandchildren, Emily Farris, Caroline Farris, and Alannah Langston.

She will be missed by everyone who knew her. Special thanks to all of the staff at "Always There" and The UAB Center for Palliative and Supportive Care.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Noon. Burial will be in Valhalla Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until noon at the funeral home prior to the service.
