of Birmingham, AL, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2008. She was a member of McElwine Baptist Church. She was retired from First National Bank with 29 years of service. She played bridge and loved to square dance at church and nursing homes. Funeral Services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. with burial in Valhalla Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2008 from 11:00 - 1:00 p.m. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland H. Pace; grandparants, Shelt and Lula Stovall Johnson; parents, Clyde and Trula Johnson. She is survived by her step-daughter, Marcia Anne Slocum Owens; cousin, Betty (Thomas) Sparks of Carbon Hill; three brothers, Jerry Wayne (Shelia) Johnson, T. J. (Deborah) Johnson all of Fayette, AL and Elzie Curtis (Sandra) Johnson of Northport, AL.
