Douglas Beatty Spencer III, age 84, passed away at his home on June 24, 2020.

Mr. Spencer was a Vietnam Veteran and retired from the Air Force serving for 21 years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Douglas Beatty Jr, mother, Josie Edna Rogers Spencer, son, Douglas Beatty Spencer IV and a granddaughter, Leah Rose Frye.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, JoAnne Grey Spencer, daughters; Vickie Irene Spencer Clawson and her husband, Carl , Debra Jo Spencer Sabljak, Rebecca Ann Spencer Soyars and her husband Gary, Cynthia Lynn Spencer Horsley, grandchildren; William Clawson, Alexander Clawson, Roxanne A. Sabljak, James D. Spencer, Rachel A. Dykes and Alana G. Green.

Visitation will be on Monday, June 29, 2020 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home and a graveside service to follow at 2:00 PM at Valhalla Cemetery.
