age 86, of Bessemer, passed away on Jan. 16, 2007. He was retired from U.S. Steel after 39 years of service. Mr. McGaha was an Army Veteran of World War II in the Asiatic Theater, Aleutian Islands and the Philippines. He was preceded in death by his wife 61 years Marion Frances McGaha who together gave life to a beautiful and ever growing family. He was someone who gave a laugh everyday even in his own pain, and he never met a stranger. He is survived by: son, Earnest D. (Penny) McGaha, Jr.; daughter, Deborah Lester; six grandchildren, Tina Lambert, Tammy Marshall, Tim McGaha, Todd McGaha, Hollie Lester and Megan Lester; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Estelle Kerr. Visitation will be Thurs., Jan. 18, 2007, from 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm. A Chapel service will be held on Fri., Jan. 19, 2007, at 11:00 am at Valhalla Funeral Home with burial at Valhalla Cemetery. Rev.
