Edith Olivia Shelton met her Heavenly Father on April 11, 2020. She was 88 years old. Mrs. Shelton was preceded in death by her parents, Dolphus Lee Jones and Grace Olivia Bingham Jones, her husband of 61 years James Arthur Shelton, sisters Betty Alice Jackson, Nancy Cottrell, Paulette Vaughan and granddaughter Laura Beth Shelton. Left to cherish her memories are her children, Wayne Shelton, Judy Shelton Jones (Bryant) and Johnny Shelton (Dale.) Grandchildren Megan Beard (Brad,) Zachary Shelton, Shelley Grace Jones, Jordan Jones, two great-grandchildren, Laura Faith and Emory Beard. Sisters Ruth Jones and Ruby Williams and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Shelton was an artist and small business owner who owned and operated Country Village Ceramic Shop for many years. She loved the Great Smokey Mountains, gospel music and family gatherings. Olivia was a loving daughter, sister, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and a child of God.
