Edna L. Chambers, age 92, of Birmingham died Wednesday, November 24, 2014 at St. Vincent''s East Hospital.

Ms. Chambers was a native of Tennessee and lived most all of her life in Jefferson County. She was retired from McRae''s with over twenty-five years of service, was a former member of the Eastern Star and Parkview Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School. She was preceded in death by one son, Robert Chambers.

Ms. Chambers is survived by five sons, Ronnie Chambers (Ginger), Bill Chambers (Mary Nell), Ray Chambers, Terry Chambers (Judy), and Steven Chambers (Margaret); two daughters, Nancy McIntosh (Charlie) and Susan Chambers; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, December 1, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Valhalla Cemetery with Dr. Stephen Hall officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M at Valhalla Funeral Home.
